Saturate is a game in which the player uses color as a main gameplay element. The player uses the colors of the art school color wheel to open doors, navigate mazes and destroy enemies. The art school color wheel being primary red, yellow and blue and combine these colors to make orange, purple and green. The player shoots color at doors, switches and enemies to match the required color. To open doors the player matches the switch color to the door color. To destroy enemies the player matches their color to the color of the background.
The team behind Saturate is composed of Andrew Osborne, Bryan Ottho, Andrew Pope and Aaron Yeung. Students in the School of Interactive Arts & Technology this game was initially a project for the Advanced Game Design Course.
